I do think that much reported by the western press in Myanmar etc is just a distraction to avoid the west having to look at its own issues and that in any issue there are many 'shades' of the facts but it doesn't hurt to have a clean bill of health and a local population who only lives near the mine BECAUSE of the mine.

I think why media reports on human rights is because people want to hear about it, it is news worthy. So the partners in the JV have no ties to the military, good.
