The only thing that still bothers me here is the joint venture. Is it clear to others whether it's cash-flow positive? Are there a bunch of expenses bundled in there that we don't see? Are there non-trivial directors fees / wages / marketing expenses etc.? Do any of the Beam management team quietly benefit from this?
I genuinely don't know so I'd love someone to explain it if I've missed the relevant details.
Based on everything I see, the company is in a great position and incredibly cheap, but I still get nervous when someone tells me about revenue and not the other side of the ledger.
I'd really appreciate feedback from anyone who has a better grasp of this than I do.
