Any valuation needs to take into account that Beam sold the JV the Zoleo product at a discount to below market value (15% margin, instead of 40%) for 3 years, which in turn meant the ZOLEO device could be priced aggressively in the US/Canada market and grow market share. Without that pricing, the growth ends up being a much different trajectory. If this isn't taken into account, Beam effectively have to invest more dollars to purchase something for the value they created through the aggressive pricing.

The sooner this is all over, the better.
