There's clearly still a perspective among some that MC should be kept on a reduced contract. I'd really implore all stakeholders to reconsider that view.
It's not just that he doesn't deserve the ludicrous salary he was pulling; he doesn't deserve $300-400k either!
He has utterly failed shareholders over an extended tenure and his attitude - highlighted in this announcement - is atrocious.
We must do everything possible to ensure he never earns another dime from Beam. Frankly, the only reason I'm still a holder now is to hopefully play some small part in achieving that outcome.
