Haha you've really got to have a good sense of humour in this game. As another member pointed out earlier, BCI sells the NJV for $1, saves a few million in environmental restoration etc. and now is paying Mineralogy $9 million for mostly unexplored land.

Of course things are never as simple as they appear on the surface and at the time of the NJV sale it was probably the most sensible move for BCI.

But to now begin exploring new land (I.e. more cash burn) seems a strange move for BCI unless they believe there is something else in that land worth finding. If it's more iron ore they are looking for, I would be really disappointed.
