BPT down 9.92% vs S&P/ASX 200 ENERGY (SECTOR) down 3.36%, so I suppose the net impact of negative sentiment specifically attributed to today’s announcement is around 6.5%.
Given that the announcements merely confirm what’s previously known or expected by the market, there is a fair chance that the SP will regain the 6.5% loss once the dust settles hopefully in the next few days.
