re: Ann: Beach Secures $150 Million Financing... I think if the shale gas project proves uneconomic, Beach will return to the 60s-70s. There's definately a value assigned to its shale assets, there was a large increase in SP when they announced that the shale target was closer to 300-350m than the initially thought 200m.
There's definitely downside risk involved with this project, but I believe in the management which I've come to learn (after investing in CTP, NKP) is paramount.
Still a buy under $1 for me, stops at 75c-ish. Seems to have good support at mid 80s at the moment.
