A bold acquisition, but a good one as above all, it increases the grade by almost 20-40% (assuming they can perhaps truck 200-300k p.a). A huge benefit for a small plant. I can only assume that until recently, the asset was not for sale....?

As otherwise, why the heck did BCN pay out all those dividends, to then take up very expensive debt....

I am surprised that no-one has mentioned this yet.

If they can get ore into the plant before years end, then BCN is going to be a very different company.
They have added 300k with perhaps, 100k of reserves. That is a big deal.

The price is very reasonable considering the price of gold just hit $3000. $43 an ounce seems very cheap when they can basically start mining it this year.

Anyway, good luck to all holders. BCN is an interesting little miner that is bucking the trend and actually staying profitable.
