I agree with a majority of comments here.. last year there was a lot of nagativity about the hedge.. but it turned out to be advangateous. (obviously so..we got divies)
Secondly..as per last year..they haven't bet the whole farm on the hedge... prudent to leave room for "possible" highter prices.

Cashflow has been mentioned.. Exactly right.. nobody looks at "possible" prices. Business value is on contracted sales, not possible sales. I'm glad the management we have are running the show..not the posters here...no disrespect intended.

I'm in ALK.. the educated posters there have also mentioned and tracked the recent Centra Banks gold buy-ups. They referred to this as inflation protection.. make of that what you will. For goldies..I like the sound of that.

I'm happy to hold and watch the management continue to make money..for themselves and holders.
I knew I shoulda brought more over the last few month....lol
