what part of this is in downtrend? the angle of ascent between each major pivot has been increasing for 73 years since the separation of gold and USD.. it is in effect in the motions of going parabolic on its current ever increasing rate of ascent.
I watched one analyst today who is forecasting 1200USD gold, and even he is of the belief that its in uptrend despite his temprary crash forecast
its currently backtesting the recent break of 2k.. the longer it spends here and sucessfully holds.. the less likely it will be to ever retest it again, similar to when 1k was brokenin 2007, it got back a hundred or so above it.. 2080 could be a similar mark on this move. of course there is no guarantee that it will go straight up.. that guys forecast could well be right.. and he isnt the only one, there was another prominent forecaster/trader calling for 1600 gold for some time now as the buy the dip oportunity. both however are of the firm belief that gold is going north
