Sorry, I shouldn't have said cap raise as in releasing more shares. Remember when they loaned the company money and benefitted from earning all that interest? Also, who benefits most from the dividends IS the directors (and Colin). They own most of the shares of the company compared to me or you. Colin is on the top of the list for the most shares, but the directors with their super funds own the majority. Any dividend income I get from this won't be much, but for the directors it would be massive (just .001 dividend gives the McGarrys and Geoff over a million dollars). They would also benefit by paying dividends because it will keep the share price down and buy more until they can take it private. Collectively two of our directors own over one billion shares. And, yes, I'm annoyed at how this is playing out. They haven't done the best they can for all shareholders (in my humble opinion). I might be too cynical, but they get paid to run the company, so what do they care if the share price is low? And we've seen they're happy to keep buying because they can afford it and know it's a good deal. They're making bank every day. In the meantime, the rest of us wait, and wait, and wait. I'll keep thinking this way until they do something that raises our share price out of the doldrums it's in. Paying dividends now (not that they definitely will and I hope they don't) would be detrimental to the company and a bad business decision if growth and development is their goal. If they don't pay dividends, awesome, I'll think they're doing the right thing for everyone.
