Hi @bluey10 , in this case it's the ATO that are responsible for this - not Beacon or Automic.
The ATO sent me a letter a couple of months ago saying I hadn't advised the correct TFN to Automic and warned me to update it or prepare for maximum tax witheld if ever any dividends - this was before the BCN divi announcement. How that TFN number got there who knows?
Automic and BCN by default have no idea other about your tax situation other than if you have quoted your TFN or not. It's up to the ATO and yourself to sort that. It's that simple. Sorry you have to wait until next FY for this - that really sucks as a pensioner.
