Peter Schiff has said today these rate hikes are too little too late and rates should be higher than inflation. That is a fair enough statement but these gold cronies once said if they raise rates only 0.25% the markets would collapse well they haven't and unemployment seems still ok in the US. As for the US inflation rate it has dropped the last 2 readings, albeit by a small margin but if its dropping then why do rates need to be higher than inflation rate?
