I wonder, does a person who makes such posts really have any knowledge whatsoever of the various listed gold companies that Colin is invested in Western Australia and to the extent of those investments - a lot of the details are publicly available if anyone else wanted to research that?
And if it was going to be "all over for the Beacon boys", why would someone with the track record in investing in some of most successful listed gold companies in Australia, be continuing to buy such a substantial interest in a 2c company? Maybe he actually understands the basics of what he invests in - becos some other the other publicity listed companies that he has invested in, have been exceptionally successful. It would be interesting to know at what stage he bought into those, noting the value of those investments now?
What i find particularly interesting, is that looking at the timing of Colin's more recent considerable increased holdings, appears to coincide with the sell off of some of them more vocal critics of BCN? . Those of you who research the small cap, high risk spec mining sector, will be probably be aware of Rick Rules experience and advice about 1 & 2c cent spec miners, - research, risk, volume, timing and patience.....
So what is likely to cause BCN failure now - are we likely to have abnormal rains throughout the goldfields in the middle of summer? No.
Is there some unknown reason why we will be spending another 4 qters stripping overburden? No.
Are we going to get lower grades by mixing better pay dirt from known sources?No.
Have we wasted time & money getting in on the ground floor of the next new mining frontier? No.
People such as F & B and Longtime W, who make many meaningful observations, for & against some aspects of the company, have declared buy and held positions, Colin continues to buy.....
Considering the above, could it be that these continual one line criticisms and disruptions to meaningful debate, is real dummy spitting, or perhaps the old ploy of creating unsubstantiated doubt to restock for the 15 to 20% trading profit as we see happen from time to time? It just seems illogical to bag a company time and time again when you have no interest in it - a total waste of everyone's time.
There are another 2,177 other companies to invest in...but from my perspective, I hope Colin keeps buying more and more BCN shares.
