Generally, when a company is unloved or eager for the fund, the raising price and the option strike price are at a good discount from the market price.
The last Peak capital raise was for ICI and the option strike price was 25% above the raising price. Now, their market price is about 3 times the raising price. Of course not all shares behave in similar manner.
The option strike price for BCC is double the raising price. Personally, I haven't seen this before in all of Peak capital raises. This reflect the confidence of Peak and BCC. I suppose they should know as they have their hands on the plough.
