OK so considering 2,500 of this order will be shipped in FY 2022 we can assume the original 7,500 will also be shipped in FY 2022?
The devices retail for about $1,000 (varied pricing out there but will work off this) - what is Beam's margin per device I wonder? They perhaps sell them to Iridium for $500? $100 margin a fair estimate? This would be $1 million profit if so.
Can Beam capture more of the market selling direct to market, seems they sell to Iridium who then on sell but Iridium is the Satellite company but guess it is part of the deal to make a device for their network they then control sales?
There has been talk of launching this product to be a subscription data service also, be good to get this off the ground - I would be interested to understand plans here more.
