It's useless without a subscription from what I can tell. But this means whoever buys it will definitely become a ZOLEO customer or they would have wasted $345.
Those that use it for a while and decide to give it up are also likely to sell the device on Gumtree and whoever buys it will have to sign up for a ZOLEO plan. Company told me that no other operator can activate the device. Talk about sticky customers!
