    Not the sort of thing I would do. Being a marketing affiliate. I hope the company does well with the product though. There are many hiking locations in Australia (and around the world) that do not have mobile phone coverage. Even being in a steep valley can stop mobile phone communications.

    I might consider this product (or the garmin) as I do plan to do some solo hiking this year. I normally hike in groups for safety reasons.

    I wonder if it works under a thick rain forest canopy?
