From what I hear:
Nambwan had a near term liquidity issue and needed to raise cash .. KSL sale was the easiest/fastest option to solve the problem... it was nothing against ksl as an investment proposition..
Other png superfunds still hold KSL stock so political support for Ksl will continue..
WRT Asian development bank taking a stake I understand that this improves its exposure/ability/preferential-selection to provide (and profit from) lending to new infrastructure projects in png..
Ksl has strong local deposit base and geared towards low cost mobile/phone banking which is growing strongly in png..
Like this stock for dividend and strong rerate over a couple of years..
