I agree with you that it's overheated again (I think a lot of that is people desperate for solid income in this low interest rate environment shifting their money out of the banks and into companies like SOL and WES). Like ROEROC said though I think the best strategy with SOL is just to buy and hold and let the underlying asset value catch up with the SP after they get a bit disconnected. I was lucky enough to grab my first parcel at $14.50 in December 2016 and have added to it in every correction since so my average purchase price is up to $16.50 which I'm still very pleased with.
