I'm not sure what to make of it. A strategic stake in case of another takeover offer? Could ABP launch their own takeover? Would that get past regulators as they are number 1 and 2 in the storage market I believe?
In any case, most of this buying was on the days when NSR was really getting hammered, so their holding is at good levels. Maybe ABP just saw it as really undervalued and bought in there? They know the storage business well, so would've seen operational performance levels not matching what the market was saying.
As a holder of both, I'm happy to see buyers of any kind seeing the value in the businesses.
