Correct imo Loki - once a company has found an economical resource (say over 2mil/oz at good grade) the focus should be 100% on getting it into production asap. Running around all over the country side trying to replicate past glory is just a waste of investors $$$. PRU were instrumental in doing this , as were BDR.
The MD of PMI has REAL experience in Burkina and is well respected. He and his team could run things quite easily if we saw a amx/gry/pmi merger (or some other combo). The areas would be about 8-10 hours drive apart or a short flight. A central office in the capital could control the lot.
I think Taurus have big plans for these co's.
