Hamhung, so if you had $20m in shares in CGR that you would sell at 54c without firstly offering them to SCO at a price higher than 54c but less than 60c. And if SCO were interested wouldn’t they buy them straight out so as to close out the COG bid. After all each cent saved by SCO as against their non binding offer of 60c is worth $400k. They could have saved themselves a cool $2m. Equally the instos could have picked up an extra $2m.
the instos took it because there is no SCO coming and they didn’t want the COG deal. Equally COG need the shares to shore up the Yes vote.
To me this is logical, and if it plays out any differently I will have to eat humble pie.
