Very strongly agree with you that LJ is certainly aiming big for himself and his pocket at the same time. I think he would have done enough rounds of board room politicking to understand how the game is being played and thus the invitation of Eduard E. to become a board member. He would have sufficient confidence in his management of DCN and the bright prospect of it to invite such a guy on the board knowing very well that if it is anything lesser than great, he will end up in the wilderness once again as per DRM/SLR merger.
I think the merger of De Grey will be his primary goal i.e. he becoming the eventual MD is the goal of the new entity and anything less than that will be a loss to him.
