Very well thought out mate. And a real possibility.

Although I think in this scenario MIN would need to appoint new ESS management as the current management seem to want an early pay day and head for the exits!!.

MIN are known to work with companies and hold a minority interest until they are ready but I assume they work with people / management in those small companies that they trust and have a good relationship with. I'm not sure that's the case with ESS.

Hence I am leaning towards it being a full Takeover as the asset is ready to mine tomorrow - probably just a handful of people could manage it if it's a DSO operation. MIN will then seed the other tenements into one of their many other companies, or spin them off in a new junior with friendly ties to MIN.

As an ESS shareholder I have also somewhat "moved on" as if the management don't really want to develop the resource and are not committed to it, why would I stick around to watch their half-ar$ed attempt?. I would rather put those funds into a GL1 or some other emerging resource with good management who are committed and doing their best to get things off the ground and realise value for shareholders.

So I'm hopeful that we now have a better value discovery method in place where 2 companies will decide what the current value of the asset is, we can get a nice price and we can all move on and buy our favourite stocks with the proceeds.
