MIN would be monitoring progress on all emerging Li resources in WA(atleast). When DLI faltered with lacklustre Mt Ida ANN and polarising D&D presentation, CE ceased the opportunity.

Pure speculation, but IMO MIN are developing an Eastern Goldfields Li Hub. After CE detached MIN from Albermale plant at Kemerton and Chinese processing link the Indemitsu(chemical processing) link with DLI is fascinating.IMO
