Over the last 38-months LME #tin inventories have only been this low 65-days (5%) putting the market on high alert .
With mining issues persisting in Myanmar, DRC and Indonesia - Chinese smelter feed is drying-up, smelter utilisation levels are dropping towards 50% and Treatment Costs are setting record lows. All signs point to a tin supply crisis.
