@Hopeful9 I could be wrong but I think you will find that MUFG is only advising the market of their current position on an ongoing balance of the normal trades that they do. The ASX requires the market to be informed if a holding goes above 5% or if it falls below 5%. Institutions & LIC's have a lot of holdings at this level. To my knowledge MUFG aren't aggressive shorters, and I don't think they have "borrowed" any shares either.
