A very interesting question #lemonwasher..I cannot answer as yet will attempt to find out. Also of interest is the at first boring long list of transactions and the nominee purchases on behalf of Mitsubishi, including Morgan Stanley ( perennial shorters)
It appears that they have been accumulating since early 2021 with very small purchases multiple times per day.
Then we see MS as “ borrowers “ of script albeit only small amounts.
This behaviour continues over the full 37 pages of transactions and since 2022 the purchases increase in volume ,along with the “ borrowing “ and pay back by MS.
While I welcome the increased interest from Mitsubishi I do not welcome the opportunistic Morgan Stanley. Refer Appendix C for further.
