I commented too soon - notice that MUFJ " became substantial" on the 31/10/22, and "became aware" on 2/11/22 .... announced on ASX on 7/11/22, and on the very same day announced "unsubstantial" on 2-4/11/22. Notice that MUFJ appears to have lent stock to MS (Morgan Stanley) who announced also on the 7th that it had ceased to be substantial shareholder .... both appear to have been shortening the proverbial out of SBM, like other actors from corporate crime central. So much for the short squeeze!! Todays volume is paltry in the larger scheme of things, and other than a few retail bottom feeders, causing a small non-significant bounce, its impossible to draw any firm conclusions other than "SBM" is an "AVOID". As bikemad has said, it's a scandal that the ASX allows the financial mafia to short stocks unhindered on the spurious grounds that it increases liquidity - that's one way to describe manipulation !
