Also, I'm keen to learn and let's face it, it appears he understands the shorting game.

I find it amazing (well actually I don't!) that many appear too willing to voice "how wrong" shorting is, and yet have no appetite to try and understand it!

Admittedly, many do not have the time and many (it would appear) do not have the capability (even if someone was willing to educate).

My view, the more you can understand it and its various drivers, the greater the likelihood you can optimally "time" increasing and decreasing your long position. I am a fan of technical trading for this reason as well.

Also amazed how these bot algorithm programmed trading works - given they will quite often be players with counter objectives.

Often the more you learn, you learn there is more to learn than you thought!

Any direction as to great learning documents would be greatly appreciated - I find the ASX and ASIC not that helpful even defining such things as daily gross shorts - ie what does that include? as an example.....
