Those that perpetuate shorting have no interest in it coming to an end, and your talking systemic issues that go to the very top - so its here to stay until the current system finishes, whether we like it or not. Interestingly, it is said the average life span of a fiat money system is ~35 years, so you'd think a new system might not be too far off (gold/silver not CBDC's, you'd hope.....), but never underestimate their ability to keep the current system going...... somehow.
