Some believe that Zhaojin made this offer to counter shorters who were having a field day with the share price at record lows, which seems to be supported by the rapid covering of shorts in the 2 weeks following the offer. If this was their desire, why not chuck in another offer at 70-75c to clear the remaining shares that are shorted?

Others believe Zhaojin will withdraw their offer allowing shorters to swoop in again. This would imply more shares being borrowed which we really get no oversight on.

MUFC and MS bother me, and tbh I will be happy to see them leave the share register. With all the takeover activity atm with Newmont / Perseus the likes of TIE and WAF seem like debutant/s at the edge of the dance floor with no suitors...
