Maybe they smell weakness after Tembo declining to replace John Holder on the BOD? Obviously this telegraph's Tembos likely decision to cash in its big win.

@wassa and myself have a theory on this.

Maybe Tembo have already made an informal agreement to sell their stake.
Contrary to what the MoM boys we were both agreeing that we wouldn't be surprised to see BGL appear as the buyer.

It all fits in like a jigsaw puzzle.
Bill Beamont, Simon Lawson and Darren Stralow all together once more.

Develop to operate the undergrounds.
DS to remain MD.
SL to become the groups chief geologist.

BGL scrip looks fully valued now it has climbed over the 2 billion mark.
BGL will be producing enormous amounts of cash to potentially sink into another project.
BGL are now through the most capital intensive stage of ramp up.

I like your guys hypothetical thinking , also a combined mining enty can carry the tax losses of SPR through on their books to offset future taxes . Would think a 4th player to seal the deal would be a financier like MacQuarie Bank , possibly why SPR have just pulled in a M&A skilled director to oversight such a transaction .
