    If you have any doubts about the commitment & integrity of Geoff Wilson & his team, I suggest you look back to 2009 when, by the law at that time, WAM was not allowed to pay a final dividend because they didn't have sufficient retained earnings & as the whole market had collapsed, they didn't have the necessary profit in their portfolio.

    To keep faith with investors WAM allowed investors to sell an amount of stock back to the company, at a price significantly above market value, that was equivalent to them receiving an eight cent dividend.

    Geoff Wilson has since successfully pushed for the law to be changed, allowing companies to pay dividends based on solvency & sound business practices.

    The above should remove any doubt that, with WAM, shareholders come first.
