Especially when there is another, or a multitude of others totally different entities involved.

IMHO, they would only have to say that they were in because they saw the opportunity to make a quick buck. And the opportunity for them to make that quick buck, is there.
If they can manage to get the sp down to the mid 1.40s, then there is money there to be made, even if they only have to sell at the offer price of $1.52.

These people that we are talking about, are real specialist in this field.
