Goodness, the hubris in here is colossal sometimes. Ppl like to drag out their expertise, (totally unverifiable) as if that means they should have the last word.

and you haven't seen a deal like this before? Very experienced in which markets? International Biotechs perhaps? Because that would be only relevant one.

The deal with Cephalon/Teva won International Biotech Licensing Deal of the Year. Why would that be? Because it was generous to both sides, see?

Or is your idea of a good deal, one in which only one side is getting hammered, and the other side is the winner?

The fact is, that the deal has dimensions that we don't know about yet, but it would be an intelligent thing to try to work out if MSB is not as desperate as some in here like to make out.
