zman ..yes I love when you infer it will be different this time...that is a natural common response and that's why it won't ..Investor's will carry on right over the cliff edge because by believing it's different this time..."it's always the same"...this was a major correction due to happen, because of valuation on a PEx basis higher than 1929..massive personal debt build up and huge property debt build up .Continued 28 years of excesses continuing on and on in the property market.
Yes this correction is going to continue because human nature never changes and human behaviour is just the same every time,and zman you just proved it..by simply saying it's different this time...human behaviour doesn't change.
My answer is carry ploughing money into the stock markets like the so many others and if your game enough continue ploughing money into property.
Believe me three major legs up and two major legs down is as sure as night follows day...but since you say it's going to be different this time,don't worry many will say the same as you ,they always do...you won't be alone many will keep on plunging in..saying it's different this time!!!! Good luck ...if you don't hear the bell ringing that's perfectly normal 95% never do..

Look at what arguably the largest property investor family in Australia did in the last two years..sold out.And look at what Murdoch did with all his media networks in the USA ..he And his family sold out.Many multi billionaires have sold out of years of asset formation....they are smart they know when it's time to leave the party....Warren Buffet has been building cash for years in Berkshire Hathaway and has over 100 billion in cash,because everything was too expensive and he is considered to be one of the USA 's greatest investors. I must take this opportunity to congratulate the much maligned James Packer reducing massively his investments in Casinos and reducing debt .and increasing his cash ..very smartly timed move ..Kerry would be very proud of his son.
Yes always the cycle is Three major legs up and
