That's the stupidest reasoning, it's the spec world... You can't pick every single one correctly.
-You do research
-Make a investment based off your own Risk/Reward criteria
-You let it go and if things change along the way that make you think it will no longer achieve what you thought it would, you sell or whatever
You wanna knock a guy on 1-2picks, how about read the guy's story and how he's made more money than you probably will in your whole entire-life.
