investment +24.4% on-year in January-October period, in line with economists' forecast; October industrial output +13.1% on year, slightly slower vs September's +13.3%, expectation of +13.4%. China October CPI +4.4% on year, vs +4.0% expected, which raising fears of more China monetary tightening measures, but so far this not spooking commodities; interest rate hike in October was well received. Traders of view that cautious approach of PBOC likely to lead to soft landing, support commodity demand over medium, long term. Volume on LME very strong at 2804 lots done so far.
