The Resource has been drilled whilst still an Exploration permit (EPC), BEFORE the mining lease has been pegged by BMA. That is the way I thought you do it. The area of the original BMA EPC, which is not part of the BMA mining lease, has then been relinquished by BMA in 2003 and is part of the area now called EPC 1067. What I am saying, is that BMA had a chance to look at it, and they probably did by the looks of it. Please refer to OLD geo reports, way before this tenement was owned by WAL / Ansett (BMA report Dated January 2003).BMA could have made a mistake, or would have targeted shallow coal, but I personally wont bet on it (Yeah we all know the New hope/ Saraji story)
My personal opinion is that you can derive at some answers to your geological questions with the use of other geological tools and methods, but a core drill will be the second best, just behind a continuous miner.
WRT CLR : I am 100% behind you on that one, although I think you are a bit premature in quoting numbers (Only one Long wall ?LOL), as we only know what is in the ground, with no idea yet how we will get it out(Longwall, Bord and Pillar/ open cut). A concept study will be started soon, and I am looking forward to that. It is however looking vey promising, and I am holding a good chunk in there.
    Just my opinion and interpretation...
    Kind Regards
