Laurence Freedman joins Carrick and Condor boards

Carrick Gold Ltd announced on August 18, 2010 that Laurence Freedman had been appointed as a director. Mr Freedman has also accepted a position on the board of Condor Nickel Ltd.

Both Carrick and Condor say that Mr Freedman has extensive involvement and expertise in resource companies. He has worked as a director of Commonwealth Mining Investments and as manager of investments of BT Australia. He founded the Equitilink Group in 1980, which grew to become a global business. Since selling Equitilink in 2000, he has acted as a mentor to a number of resource, biotech and technology companies.

Mr Freedman directly held 500,000 Carrick shares and indirectly held 19,919,772 shares at the time of his appointment. He directly held 100,000 Condor shares and indirectly held 6,632,088 shares at the time of his appointment.
