Interesting development in light of all this discussion on transaction risk
Renaissance smaller companies fund has taken a 5%+ stake in Amadeus
They appear to be a bottom up, deep value fund. Question is do they see this as easy money assuming that the transaction goes ahead or do they see this as a long term value play ?

As another poster pointed out there appears to be little downside risk so looks like a win win either way
