Ann: Becoming a substantial holder , page-2

Well this is an interesting twist on CITI's holdings, they reduced with a notice on the 31st of october, they then reduced further ceasing to be substantial on the 18th of novemeber the day after the first results, interestingly they didnt give a date of reduction nor the amount sold. Now today they have said on the 22nd of Novemeber they again became a substantial holder with 5.398% of NUP.

The strange part of this is on the 22nd of Novemeber NUP only traded 1.1m shares, yet for CITI to jump atleast 0.398% on the register they would have atleast had to have bought 1.78m shares which is about 0.4% of NUPs fully paid register on this particular day which clearly didnt happen.

How else can CITI inscrease their holding 0.398% which is claculated from 5%??? they were below 5% which means they had to buy more than the 0.398% to get what they have now, how far below 5% we will never know but they were below this to fall out of substantial status announced on the 18th of November.

Is it possible that shares have been simply transfered??? If this was the case we would have seen a large crosssing which the market shows as a cross trade.

It dosnt make sense to me but good to see them increasing holdings.
