I think it contributed but certainly was the main contributing factor. As per the "Notice of substantial holder" lodged on the 8th of March a further 576,828 shares were acquired between the dates of 08/11/11 - 07/03/12 bringing the total number of shares held to 2,526,890. Therefore Telstra held quite a few shares before this period.
