No, they didn't pick the 8 million which was crossed through Shaw stockbroking and the Notice didn't detail any single 8m (or more than 900k) purchase.  Such a crossing was done to an insto(s) or HNW.  No broker I know of would have held that amount to distribute to clients.  It was done at a discount at the time (60c Vs 67.5c) so the buyer got a good price but didn't know of the Paradice selling as Paradice didn't start selling until 8 days later.

For what its worth, it looks as if Paradice have continued to let shares go through Morgan Stanley (but may have stopped today) and Credit Suisse appears to continue to be buying.
