    The short seller obviously thinks the price will fall and is borrowing more stock that they can sell. The main question is why would you loan your stock so it can be used to push the price down? Everyone has their reasons, the lender will receive a fee of some sort, the lender may have a much longer term holding timeframe and don't mind the price being pushed down shorter term.

    Personally if it was me, I'd lend them a sh!tload, let them short sell it all and then give them the 4 days notice for full recall and watch it spike 50% while they try and cover
