Granted the actual number of shareholders isn't as relevant as the weighting but your "flabbergasted at just 1882 shareholders" ? ? It's a drop of about 100 from last year but signicantly more than at any other time in it's history - probably largely at hand of the dilution over the last few years going from 400 million to 2 billion shares on issue.
