Graphex Mining Limited (ASX: GPX), (the “Company”) requests a trading halt in the trading of the Company’s securities, effective immediately.

 A trading halt is necessary as the Company expects to shortly make an announcement to the ASX, providing further information on the status of negotiations regarding an equity joint venture, offtake and project finance for the Chilalo Graphite Project;

 The Company requests that the trading halt remains in place until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Wednesday, 24 May 2017 or an announcement in relation to the development of the Chilalo Graphite Project;  The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted; and

 The Company is not aware of any further information necessary to inform the market of the trading halt.

Hi oxxa23, I knew the reason for the trading halt...what I meant to say is let's hope the announcement we've been waiting for will come through! Ohh the vagaries of the English language....
