His investing strategy is to find small-cap gems before anyone else does.

Taylor says he tries to make money in two ways – profit growth and multiple expansion.

"The multiple expansion comes from more small-cap or mid-cap managers buying it. Then the profit growth comes from picking a good business, and if you get both of those you get a double whammy."
